Black is undeniably one of the most popular colors when it comes to motorcycle helmets. It is also one of the basic and highly regarded colors for the ILM brand. And its enduring popularity can be attributed to several factors.
Classic and versatile: Black is a timeless color that never goes out of style. It has a sleek and sophisticated look that appeals to a wide range of riders, regardless of their personal style or preferences.
Low profile and inconspicuous: ILM black motorcycle helmets have a low-key appearance and blend well with different motorcycle types and riding gear. They don't draw excessive attention and allow the rider's overall outfit or bike to take the spotlight.
Universal appeal: Black is a neutral color that appeals to both male and female riders. It is not limited by gender or specific riding styles, making it a popular choice among a diverse range of riders.
Easy to match: ILM black helmets are easy to match with various riding gear and motorcycle colors. They provide a versatile and cohesive look, ensuring that the helmet complements the overall aesthetics of the rider and their bike.
While personal preferences for helmet colors may vary, the popularity of ILM black motorcycle helmets can be attributed to their timeless appeal, versatility, and ability to blend seamlessly with different riding styles and gear.
Then here’s comes a question, how to keep ILM black motorcycle helmets clean and shiny?
Shell:
After your ride, start by wiping away any dirt and bugs on the surface of the ILM helmet using warm water. Then, use a soft cloth soaked in a cleaning agent or alcohol to wipe the helmet's surface. You can also apply wax to maintain the shine of the helmet's exterior. (For minor scratches on the shell, you can apply toothpaste to the affected area and gently rub back and forth.)
Visor/Face Shield:
Remove the visor and rinse it with clean water. During the rinsing process, use a clean cotton cloth to gently wipe the visor. Avoid using any hard objects that may scratch the surface. Avoid touching the visor directly with your hands and promptly clean any fingerprints from the surface.
Inner Liner:
Most helmet liners are removable and ILM is no exception. Take out the liner and soak it in warm water with laundry detergent or dish soap. Gently rub the liner and then rinse it with clean water. Let it air dry.
Fasteners:
Regularly check the fasteners and use a brush to remove any dirt or sand between them. You can also apply a few drops of lubricating oil to keep the fasteners smooth.
*When the ILM helmet is not in use, store it in a helmet bag in a cool, dry place, away from high temperatures, humidity, and heavy pressure.
