Excellent jacket
5 stars. My chest measurements placed me right in the middle of the range for a 3xl. The height of this ol' fat guy is about 6'3" and I weigh in around 270lbs. I have a somewhat athletic build but am a little thick around the middle. This jacket arrived cleanly packed in a thick plastic bag within a box. The back armor insert was not installed but is a snug fit within the jacket. Having read some Amazon reviews I looked at the zippers. This jacket has the YKK zippers everyone claims are missing on other jackets. My guess is that some of the Amazon stores might be selling cheaper knock-off jackets. This jacket is a good fit for me. It's comfortable and breaks the wind well. As I'm writing this, (October 10, 2024) it's 60° and sunny with moderate wind. I took a ride for about an hour and was pretty comfortable with jeans, this jacket and a thin t-shirt. Armors on the shoulders, elbows and back are barely noticeable while riding. The insulated liner may be light but is good for cool weather and it keeps most of the wind out. I can't say how the jacket performs on hot days yet because, this late in the year, I won't have many hot days to ride. With the fabric and design, I think it will breathe great and keep me cool and protected during hot days. Back to the liner... it zips in around the perimiter and also has buttons that help the sleeves and back stay in place. It fits my arms a little snug so I have to take the jacket off slowly when it's in place. For $120.00 this is a great jacket. It's my first riding jacket and I'm very happy with the fit and form of it. I highly recommend ordering it (here) from ILMotor.com to avoid possible fakes. Hopefully I'll find time to post a YouTube review a little later. This was definitely worth the price. Especially since I've other manufactures price their jackets between $400 and $1100. THANKS ILM!
